John Burke:
Owner of the Dungeon Mixed Martial Arts Academy Since 1997.
Has been training over 27 years in the martial arts including:
Kung Fu, Wrestling, Boxing, Judo & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Instruction in Grappling
Submission Fighting & Ground & Pound Techniques
Kettle Bell Training and general combat conditioning

Have taught self defense, weapon retention, officer survival techniques to Law Enforcement, Military and other organizations over the years, but my first love is the mixed martial arts. Since residing on Cape Cod in the mid 90’s, I’ve been training people for kickboxing, grappling, and Mixed Martial Arts competitions. I’ve had fighters compete all over the world. Whether you just want to loose weight and get into shape, or want to train to fight any type of competitions, I will get you into that shape.

I also manage fighters and know most of the local promoters and match makers. I get you fair fights.

Yours in Combat,
John Burke

Rene came to the Dungeon in 2008 to begin his career in MMA. After setting all the records in his school in Parana-maringa Brazil, Rene came to the United States with the dream of becoming one of the best mixed martial arts fighters in the US. Rene has won 5 mma fights and is the NAGA lightweight champion. One in Brazil and 4 from the US fighting under the tudilidge of Dungeon owner, John Burke. "Training Rene has been a pleasure. His work ethic and professional approach to training is the reason we are very happy to have him join the Duneon fight family."

Along with our current BJJ instructors, Rene will oversee all BJJ activities at the Dungeon. He has spent the last 7 years teaching at Club Feijao under Instructor (6 time world champion) Rodrigo Antonio Garcia (Feijao).

We are lucky to have Rene teach traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the Dungeon. From the beginner to advanced students, Rene has something to offer everyone.
